Palm Beach County residents will have to drive a little, but two job fairs offer the possibility of hundreds of jobs.
Aegis wants to hire 300 employees for its center in Port St. Lucie. Aegis is an outsourcing services provider, which means Aegis employees provide customer service, sales and other support for clients of Aegis. Some are permanent jobs; some are seasonal/temporary, according to a news release from the company.
The job fair is from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at 580 NW University Blvd., Port St. Lucie. You can also apply online at aegiscareerusa.com.
Next Wednesday, Oct. 17, JOB News is hosting a job fair in Davie with 50 companies participated and a reported 900 jobs available, according to the company’s news release.

* Community Blood Centers that is hiring 40 entry-level positions starting at $18.27 an hour.
* Senior Bridge with 40 openings for nurses (RN and LPN), caregivers and home health aides.

Also, Workforce Alliance of Palm beach County is emphasizing its Ticket to Work program in October, which is National disability Employment Awareness Month.
